Will vinegar make you thin? There have been many articles written and arguments for and against vinegar being helpful in weight loss. I've been an avid user of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar for some time and attest to its ability to reduce stomach bloating, gas and overall body fat.

Whilst the above article does not give a strong argument for using vinegar, I would suggest that you don't use ordinary household vinegar, but you must use a good organic Apple Cider Vinegar. The reason for this is that it has more natural nutrients and is actually good for you. Over acidic people are generally those that have a high alcohol, protein and fat diet that doesn't include many fruits and vegetables. Over acidity contributes to disease in the body such as atherosclerosis, arthritis, gout, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer to name a few. Apple Cider Vinegar aids in turning an acidic body to a more favorable ph balance.
Do yourself a favour and take this challenge - take 5mls of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in 30mls of water and drink before a meal - try to do this 3 times a day. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, cut down on the caffeine, protein and junk food in your diet and see what happens. You may be pleasantly surprised. To get the best benefits, you will need to do this long term.

A Fat Body = A Fat Mind
Interesting title to this blog right? A Fat Body = A Fat Mind. Hmm. We know some people will take offense at that and we apologise up front, we do not want to make anyone feel bad. So you are now asking what do we mean. Listen up for a sec ok? Firstly, we can't offer blanket statements that apply to every person. Secondly, we know this will apply to some.
Now, people who are overweight/obese/fat can often have a fat mindset, meaning they can't get their head around the concept of weight loss, they don't want to lose weight and they are comfortable in their uncomfortableness. Sometimes, it is easier to sit in a place where we do feel comfortably uncomfortable because the idea of having to make radical or major changes in our lives is just too big.
A fat mind is one that is ok with the food they consume that is, the fat food that makes them fat. A fat body and a fat mind can go hand in hand. The foods consumed with a high fat and sugar content often do taste pretty good but they have low nutritional value and high fat value. They make us fat.
The fat mind can be complacent about what needs to be done to ward off impending disease due to being overweight. Death is final when it comes and the overweight person has a much higher chance of reaching this finality before thinner people. Beauty is in the eye's of the beholder but disease and death don't care.
Please, if you have a weight problem, make a commitment to yourself today to do something about shedding your weight. Hop on over to http://www.shrinkmybody.com/ now and check out the video's available to watch and also the supplements, equipment and programs that can help you to help yourself.

Does your weight contribute to disease?
Virtually every person I know, whether it is in my friendships or business relationships, has tried a diet at least once. People diet for many different reasons and there are thousands upon thousands of diets around for us to try. As we age it is really important that we look after our health and our weight. As a health professional, I see so many people who have weight gain related health issues such as cardiovascular disease, arthritis, diabetes, gout to name a few.
The number of cases of cardiovascular disease and cancer is blowing out of control - people are daily being diagnosed with these. Does being overweight (beign fat) really contribute to the risk of developing these diseases. You bet they do. If you are overweight, you owe it to yourself and your family and loved ones to start a plan today to lose your weight now, today. Don't leave it any longer.
Buy a journal and start writing down everything you eat and drink in a day. Do this for one week and take your weight each day as well. As you look back over the week you will be surprised by what you put in your mouth. Pizza's, burgers, fried chicken, fries, pies, crisps etc are not good foods to be eating. A better alternative is fresh fruit and vegetables and the delicious meals you can make out of them.
Keep checking back here daily to see my blogs, there will be more tips 'n tricks to help you on your way. Go to http://www.shrinkmybody.com/ and start looking over the products we have available for you to get you on your weight loss journey.

How Sweet It Is
I was driving in my car this week and the traffic was a little busy - I had my dog in the car and I was taking him to the local doggy park to have a run and play some soccer. The radio was on the and a journalist was interviewing Julia Gillard, our new Prime Minister, about the forthcoming August 21 election. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a lady jogging along the side of the road. She was dressed in tights, an oversized white t-shirt, had a head band on and was looking a bit hot and sweaty. Nothing unusual about that, right? We've all seen people jog before. What really caught my eye, was that this lady was rather overweight. Now, stay with me here. I'm not about to make some smart remark about her.
What made me look at her, and look at her for a few seconds, was the sheer determination on her face. It was obviously an effort for her and all I thought was this - 'good on you girl'. I admired and respected her effort and the look of determination. She was making an effort to jog and to get herself moving. Losing weight is not always easy. Determination is a key motivator in an exercise program to get the weight off.
I wished I had been in a lane closer to this lady so I could put the car window down and yell out 'you go girl, good on you, bravo and keep going, you're doing well!'. Some side line cheering and support goes a long way to helping our fellow citizens to 'keep going'.
That's all for now, see you next time :)

Tips For Shrinking Your Body
Dieting is such a hard thing for some people to do. Firstly, where do you start and what do you do? Some people have done so many diets and found nothing works, they're the diet Kings and Queens. For the average person, there are some things we can do to start normalising our weight.
Here are some tips to follow to shrink your body and to help you on your way.
1. Drink 8 glasses of pure/filtered water each and every day. This will help to flush out toxins
and rehydrate your body.
2. Reduce and gradually eliminate sugars from your daily diet. Sugar not only converts to fat when it is
not burnt up but it also causes an acidic system which is not good for weight loss.
3. Don't drink sugar free drinks - they contain Aspartame which has been scientifically proven to be
harmful to your health. If you are thirsty, drink water or herbal teas.
4. Eat smaller meals throughout the day - aim for 6 small ones and not 3 HUGE ones.
Eating more often, and smaller meals will encourage your metabolism to speed up and burn fat.
5. Start an exercise program today. See http://www.shrinkmybody.com/ for some exercise equipment
and YouTube videos that you can follow and get your body shrinking.

Weight Loss
Many health groups around the world are advocating that doctors and the AMA backs doctors, in telling their patients they are fat, instead of overweight or obese. This might sound offensive to some people but the reasoning is that when patients are told they are overweight or obese it doesn't really register to them the seriousness of the situation.
Being overweight has its problems such as the life threatening conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and strokes. Chronic illnesses such as diabetes, arthritis, gout, stress incontinence and cataracts to name a few can make for a very sick life. What doctors have been finding too, is that there is not just one chronic illness that will strike an overweight person but many and often in conjunction with others at the same time. Progressive, poor health is common and more often than not, depression will accompany these illnesses.
Perhaps overweight and obese people should be told they are fat. Would this actually kick start them into gear to lose weight, get fitter and clean up their lives or would it drive them to the potato crisp bag and the tv for comfort? As a society we have become so politically correct that we mustn't offend, slander or abuse people. Under this political correctness we have also come to the point where we won't tell our loved ones or friends they are fat. Fat carries an implication of revolt - that the fat person is revolting.
Regardless of what overweight and obese people should be told by their doctor, it would be really great for them if they could get a whole community, their family and friends to back them and support them in their quest for weight loss. Thinner people never know what the big person goes through. Let's support big people and help them lose weight now, today, this week. Don't put it off any longer, if you know someone who is overweight or obese, start helping them.
We're going to be showcasing products and tips 'n tricks that will help you to help your big people. We are here to help. Keep tuned and posted - more is to come.
